TSI has bid on a very large, multi-year project to develop several new systems here in the Columbia, SC area. We expect the project to start in August or September of 2006. If the award comes to us, we will very quickly need to identify and start the pre-employment process for 20 to 60 new .net Developers of various skill levels. Development will be done primarily in VB.net and SQL Server. We will be looking for people with at least 1 year of development experience, but may consider some schooling to replace that time requirement. There will also be positions for more senior developers, and some technical lead roles.

Job Description:

The software engineer filling this position joins a high-performance team focused on the development and maintenance of a Windows high availability clustering product, with particular emphasis on monitoring and recovery of Microsoft Exchange. You will spend your days, and sometimes nights and weekends, building the industry’s best solution for ensuring uptime of Microsoft Exchange and assisting the sales and support teams as they work with prospects and customers on product evaluation and deployment.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• Three years experience with Visual Studio programming in C/C++/VB Script
• Expertise in implementation, support and programmatic interfaces for
• Windows 2000 and 2003
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 and 2003
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Current MCSE including completion of tests against Windows 2003 and Exchange
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision
• Passionate about helping customers solve complex technical issues

90 day contract to hire.  Candidate should have mid-level experience with .Net, ASP and/or ASP.Net, and/or VB.Net.  AS400 and banking experience would be ideal, but not required.  Candidate would be responsible for integrating .Net code with packaged software (i.e. FISERV) and writing GUI interfaces.

Position 2

Contracting opportunity for up to 6 months.  Candidate would be responsible for integrating .Net code with packaged software (i.e. FISERV) and writing GUI interfaces.  Candidate should have a good basic knowledge of .Net, ASP and/or ASP.Net, and/or VB.Net.  AS400 and banking experience would be ideal, but not required.

Developer with hands-on ASP.NET, C# (C-Sharp), and N-Tier architecture experience.

Must be familiar with NT Kernel architecture
Must have written at least 1 NT Kernel Driver
Must have thorough understanding of Networking/TCP/IP and Winsock
Must have thorough understanding and be competent with Visual C++ compiler for C Development
Must have thorough understanding of writing a windows service application
Must have a thorough understanding and have demonstrated competence of Windows Debugger, indlcuing tracing into DLL's and Kernel if Symbols are available
Must have ability to analyze Crash Dumps
Must be familiar with code Profiling, Purify, Numega Bounds Check and PC Lint products for quality control of software product
Must be competent with and have a thorough understanding of Windows registry adn programming for Windows Registry
Must have over seven years of experience in Windows NT, must have over 3 years experience with Win 2000 and Win XP
Must have thorough understanding of Software Life-Cycle Development
Must be able to reframe concepts and Ideas from End-users Perspective
Must have Superb Problem Solving Skills (Bug Slaying!!)
